{SNB today!!}
been a long time since i update. been busy with my books and baking cookies for hari raya. yippie raya coming. all the delicious food for me to eat... hahah. my pink kebaya needs some alteration. it was big. very big. macam wayang pekji.
i m starting to have butterflies in my tummy since yest. the nervousness of sitting for the exam i jt hate it. hopefully i won choke later. as for preparation, read up abit on anatomy, nursing science but mostly i bet u its gonna be nsg practice. wish me all the best. better stop now. back to revision lissy!

talked to angie on the phone. poor girl. havin prob with the nursing home. told her to go over to MOM and compalined abt her employer. this nursing home is really terrible and horrible. how could they ask them to start work without any employment letter? Angie have not even sit for her final exam. she is not certified yet. n they do not have uniform!!! they are wearing our school uniform. and now their employer who i will call mr s, told them tt they need to pay for their uniform and get it tailored. WTF??? HE ALSO TOLD THEM TO PAY THE BOND AND LEAVE IF THEY ARE NOT HAPPY. ALL THIS FOR?for asking abt their leave and benefits. he is definitely a big bully!!! i told angie to go over to MOM and complained. don leth his threat make them scared. esp when we are in the right, dont be afraid. all i can do for them is advice and i and zila will be gng to MOM with angie n siti on monday. they are afraid to talk so we will help them. i m not trying to be a busybody but to help them. i don wan my friends to be suffering and be bullied. stupid nsg home!!!! i wan the public to know how bad and how he mistreat his staff. they have to use the black trash bag as a apron!!!! is this how u treat nurses?

one word to describe ED hectic or total madness. Went to TTSH for orientation yest. it was madness. walking around ED was like walking in a maze. so many rooms, so many numbers, so many extention to remember.... wat am i gonna do??? my memory already start to fail me and now this? memory game?
today went again but we are assigned to diff teams. i was not happy with this. i m not a staff yet and i m here for orientation not to do hands on. after lunch i requested to go home which sister allow me to. for the rest they carried on. well, i m still a student. hahahah. tom i need not come but sat there will be an orientation by sister. luckily its 1/2 day. i guess the long break is too much already. i m getting used to it and now become such a lazy ass..... hahhaha

After sahur i didnt sleep. instead i played the latest game on ngage - zuma. got so hooked up and yes i managed to beat his score!!!! hahahah... i m the champion....
Met angie at 11+am (sorry i was late) took our S'pore Nsg Board (SNB) exam letter from HMI. Didn't talk much to her. Infact i don't wish to take it fm her. I was appalled to hear wat angie told me yest abt her. when prob arises, she simply said tt angie is no longer under the school. btw no point talking abt her. my course ends and so does her presence in my life. i hate pretentials (hahah another non existing word i guess?) act i m kinda tired. tired fm waiting for kavitha. she make me damn piss with her. make me wait for her for 1 hour +!!! didnt even call me to say she will be late and not to wait for her. i went home complaining to angie... poor angie.
know wat i want for buka today? nasi ayam penyek!! fm changi... the sambal... sooooo sedaaappp...

Smlm buka makan ayam kfc. hari nie ayam gak.. i really cant get enuf of chicken. and, air kelapa thailand. everyday 2 biji kelapa kene kopek. wass up wif tt? Angie finally returned fm her New York trip. she called and we chatted for hours. poor angie had some difficulties during or infact thru out her trip. but she did enjoy it afterall. i really miss her sooooo much. she's one gal tt truely understood my temper and mood swings.
Tonight hubby bought back a super delicious nasi ayam penyek... hahaha yeah tt's the name. u guys must try it. its rated best by tv show TGIF. n i tell ya it does live up to its name. really superb. the chilli is the best... yummyy....

{Pagi Ramadhan}
1 Rahamdan
We had good and appetising food for the opening of Ramadhan. Ikan pari bakar... yummy baru masak nyer lagi tu. fried gobis and sambal sotong and ayam lemak cili api..... sedap menjilat jari... so apa lagi me tambah nasi 2 kali so does hubby.
Like a tradition. when i was with dad, step mom will make hot tea for sahur and cold drinks for buka. so i made strawberry tea for myself.
so, now thinking wats for buka.... heheheh i simply cant believe it tt fasting month is here again. seems like it was jt yest... how time flies by quickly

{summary of my road trip}
ok first of all so sorry for taking such a long way to write abt my trip. dah nak basi pun eh. been lazy lah since i came back.
so, the time diff bet sg n LA & vegas was like 16hrs? i cant remember. and the flight was pretty long. i spend my time watching the 66 movies! btw we took the non stop flight to LAX airport and its executive economy class which is much better than normal economy class. the service was superb. we have dinner followed by ice cream rounds and snacks now and then. they will make rounds for drinks and tid bits and we also have an area for us to stretch and have snacks and drinks at the back of the plane. this was much better than the flight to zurich. the seats are larger and the tv screen much bigger so it was a comfortable journey.
our flight was at 4pm and we reached LAX at 5+pm (LA time) went straight to AVIS car rental and our adventure starts at 7pm. the temp was low to 15 and i was havin butterflies coz i don noe if hubby can drive the car which was a left hand drive. at first we got lost. couldnt find our way to exit LA towards vegas but we retrack and we are in the high way. the drive up to vegas took us 5 hours. luckily hubby did his homework and printed simpler version of the map. i jt read out loud and find the next exit signs. we stopped over at mac donalds at barslow to rest and hv a drink. reached vegas at 12midnight. the highway to vegas was damn dark no lights like the one we hv in m'sia. hubby told me to look out for the lights and tt is vegas. we saw twice of the bright lights. i was screaming and singing and happy to reached vegas but tt was not vegas. the third light, was vegas! i was so happy and cant stop taking pictures of vegas beautiful and grand hotels & casinos. we went rounding at first coz we do not hv hotel reservation for the night. we went to hard rock cafe and at 1am our eyes cud hardly open and we needed rest so we checked into the motel. cost us us40. but by the time we checked in i culdnt sleep. i wanted to read my books but hubby wanna sleep. it was 3am. i decided to... sleep in the toilet bathtub. hahah took the other bed comforter and place it in the tub and took pillows and i read my book. in the end i fall asleep there.
next day we checked into circus circus & casino hotel. the room was huge and nicely decorated. there was a casino in every hotel. ours, have a amusement park with the rides, rollercoaster and that's whre i won tigger the lion. on this day i had a nose bleed. maybe coz of the cold and hot weather. the temp at daytime was 26 hot n sunny but the wind, was super cold. we went around to view the hotels there and took lots of pics and slept till late at night. 4.30am. went to factory outlet there and guess how much the levis cost. us19.90 onwards. there's nike shop and many more. we shopped like mad. we stayed in vegas for 3 nights.
on sun we drove back to LA. we left vegas at 12pm and i get to see the desert. it was beautiful! the cactus was tall n huge. the sands, mountains.... such a beautiful view. On the way we stopped by barslow again. here i bought coach purse and guess jeans and shirt. (these are original items). hubby get to buy timberland shoes. its only us29.90 and here those shoes cost hundreds... too bad i cant find my size.. sob sob....
reached our resort at laguna beach at 8pm... was damn tired and hungry. after putting our things, i decided to cook rice and curry chicken (all instant food in cans) maklum lah lidah melayu nak makan cili. our room overlook the beach/sea. there was a outdoor movie at the beach. so romantic. it was too cold for me so i skipped tt.
monday:
we went to santa monica beach. hubby wanna look for muscle beach. couldnt find it. end up arguing. mind u the beaches are damn long.....!!! we walked till my leg gonna break. the ppl there are so lively and they do wat they want. so carefree. no need to worry abt wat other say. there was a sikh group playing their instruments and dancing something like bangra dance. we looked and smiled. went to shop for groceries at wild oats...
tuesday:
the day i been waiting for. DISNEYLAND!!!! reminder to others, u don hv to buy tixs online they have promotions gng on and u might miss tt. don hv to buy 2 day tix. its expensive and u can finish the 2 theme parks in jt a day. better go on a weekday less crowds. so we act save monies. the q was very fast and i was impressed. their q ing system was superb we managed to get on all the rides.... xcept for those tt was closed. the rollercoaster and haunted house. overall i met cinderella, peterpan, mickey n minnie, goofy, and lots more.....at the end of the day there was lightning and thunder and heavy rain. i was amused when they, were so happy to hear thunder and lightning. they are like so happy.... giler nyer mat sallih
wednesday:
we chill out at home. we went to hollywood walk of fame and i went mad taking pics of the floor... ahahha we went to venice beach and this time we managed to find muscle beach. there was an outdoor gym by the beach.
thursday:
another xciting outing. we went to universal studious. but i must say disney was much better and xciting. here there wasnt much rides to take but they have lots of effects for the 3d movie. i enjoyed the mummy rides, jurassic park rides and many others. we also went for the studio tour. whre we get to see the sets and studio they used to make movies. we went to the set for tom cruise movie apa tu war of the worlds eh.. ahhh tu ar. we also saw ongng filming of my fav sitcoms, desperate housewife & csi... but we didnt get to see the stars.... shucks!!! u noe the episod in desp.housewife where one of them went to the lake to throw mrs hubbers (think so) ashes??? it was a small dirty lake.... i also saw the set of grinch, bruce almighty and lots more...
fri:
our last day here. checked out. stuffed all the things into our luggage and went to the beach. we also went to long beach. this is super duper long.... and i was already feeling sick. coz of no proper meals. i had gastritis and felt nauseated. so i was in no mood to walk arnd. our flight was at 7pm. so we went arnd. we shopped again at the mall and 6pm returned the car and waited at the airport for our confirmation.
for this trip, i didnt feel sad tt i m leaving. not that i didnt enjoy the trip but i miss our food. but now i miss the temp. the cold wind on my face and i get to put on many layers of clothes something tt i don do here.... ahahha
